Tips for a Better Reading Year
Log as you go
Add each book within a day or two of finishing it. Waiting months makes it hard to remember ratings and details.
Short stories, novellas, and graphic novels all count. Do not skip them just because they feel small.
Rate honestly
Your ratings are for you. A three-star book you enjoyed is more useful than a five-star you felt you had to give.
Use genres that mean something to you
The preset list is a starting point. Add your own tags like "cozy mystery" or "space opera" if that helps you sort later.
Include audiobooks
An audiobook is still a book. Pick "Audiobook" as the format so your stats reflect how you actually read.
Export before clearing browser data
Since everything stays local, clearing your browser storage will erase your log. Export a JSON backup first.

34 books across 12 genres. Top picks were literary fiction and sci-fi. Average rating 3.8. Finished the most books in March and October. Longest book: 812 pages.

11 books, all carefully chosen. Average rating 4.2. Most were history and biography. Kept every note for future recommendations.
The Audiobook Fan
28 books, 19 of them audiobooks. Listened mostly during commutes. Top genres: memoir and thriller. Shortest book was 142 pages (but 8 hours of audio).
